Kerguehennec Contemporary Art Center in Bignan
Set on the pond, two red, quiet volumes (sculptures by Marta Pan), then the curves of the alleys to reach the castle and the communes... The Domaine de Kerguehennec, acquired by the Department of Morbihan in 1972 and classified as Historic Monuments in 1988, is thus witness to centuries of history. Located in the commune of Bignan, it offers a meeting between heritage and contemporary creation.
Nine artists invested this castle built in the early eighteenth century on a 175 ha estate by Olivier Delourme. Ranked as historical monuments. The park is beautiful when rhododendrons are in bloom in the spring.
Kerguéhennec course: free bilingual application for the sculpture park.
This is the new 2016 : a free app to discover the sculpture park!
Let yourself be guided by this new small pocket guide, ideal for a tour in perfect autonomy. Just download the app « Parcourse Kerguehennec » free on App Store and Google play, activate your GPS once you arrive at the Domain and then choose your route (North or South). You will then have all the information necessary for your visit (plan, location of sculptures, information on works, distance and duration between your position and the next sculpture, etc.).
Implementation proposed by the National Plastic Arts Centre (Cnap) and based on the Artmapper digital platform.
